Davikokar launched a program even though Norton warned that it was a Trojan. A subsequent hard drive scan revealed nothing bad. Davikokar then asked the Antivirus & Security Software forum if Norton had given a false positive? [Email your tech questions to answer@pcworld.com or post them on the PCW Answer Line forum.] Norton may have indeed given you a false positive when it warned you that a program was malware. But it's just as likely--maybe even more so--that Norton's mistake came when it told you that your hard drive was clean. And I'm not knocking Norton here.
