Apple discontinues the iPad 2, brings back the 4th-gen iPad w/ Retina for $399 |

Apple has discontinued the iPad 2. In its place, the 4th-generation iPad with Retina Display 16GB WiFi Tablet has been brought back for the same $399 price tag. That's $100 less than what Apple charges for the entry-level iPad Air.
