MacMall offers the previous-generation Apple iMac Intel Ivy Bridge Core i5 2.9GHz 21.5" Desktop, model no. MD094LL/A, for $1,139.99. This $70 mail-in rebate drops it to $1,069.99. With free shipping, that's $110 under our February mention and the best price we've seen for this desktop. (It's also $129 less than what Apple charges for a refurb today; this one is new.) Features include an Intel Core i5-3470s 2.9GHz Ivy Bridge quad-core processor, 21.5" 1920x1080 LED-backlit display, 8GB RAM, 1TB hard drive, NVIDIA GeForce GT 640M 512MB graphics card, AirPort Extreme (802.11n), two Thunderbolt ports, four USB 3.0 ports, FaceTime HD camera, Bluetooth 4.0, Gigabit Ethernet, Magic Mouse, wireless keyboard, and OS X Mountain Lion. (It doesn't have an optical drive.) Rebate expires April 30.
