Participating Walmart retail stores offer the Apple iPhone 4S 16GB Worldphone for AT&T or Verizon Wireless for $188 with activation of a new 2-year contract. That's $11 less than what Apple charges directly and the best price we've seen for this new iPhone. Sales tax is added where applicable. The iPhone 4S is powered by the Apple A5 dual-core processor and features a new 8-megapixel camera which is capable of recording 1080p video at 30 fps with image stabilization. A dual-antenna system has also been added, which purportedly provides faster downloads and improved call quality on both CDMA and GSM networks. It also features AirPlay Mirroring, Siri voice-activated assistant, an 8-hour battery life, and more.
Note that an activation fee of up to $36 applies.
