For in-store pickup only, Fry's Electronics offers the 2.4-lb. Apple MacBook Air Intel Core i5 1.7GHz 11.6" LED-Backlit Laptop, model no. MD223LL/A, for $729. That's $20 under our refurb mention from six days ago (this one's new) and the lowest price we've ever seen for a new unit. (It's a current price low by $70.) It features an Intel Core i5 1.7GHz dual-core processor, 11.6" 1366x768 LED-backlit LCD, 4GB RAM, 64GB SSD, Facetime camera, Thunderbolt, USB 3.0, 802.11n wireless, Bluetooth 4.0, and Mac OS X 10.7 Lion.
Note that no optical drive is included.
