ExperCom offers the previous-generation 3-lb. Apple MacBook Air Intel Core i7 1.8GHz 13" Notebook, model no. MD226LL/A, with three years of AppleCare for $1,399 plus $12.50 for shipping. That's tied with our mention from last week and the lowest total price we could find now by $28. (For further comparison, we listed it without AppleCare for $151 less in July.) It features an Intel Core i7 1.8GHz Sandy Bridge dual-core processor, 13" 1440x900 LED-backlit display, 4GB RAM, 256GB SSD, AirPort Extreme (802.11n wireless), Bluetooth 4.0, Facetime camera, Thunderbolt port, and Mac OS X 10.7 Lion (qualifies for a free upgrade to Mountain Lion).
