For in-store pickup only, Best Buy offers the Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM Zoom Lens, model no. 5175B002, for $1,999.99. (Click through the Best Buy link to view it; the price appears on the final page of checkout.) This $300 mail-in rebate cuts it to $1,699.99. That's $229 under our April mention and the lowest total price we've seen. (It's also $299 under the best after rebate price we could find elsewhere.) It features one Super UD and two UD lens elements that minimize chromatic aberration in the periphery and color blurring around the edges of the subject. Rebate expires January 4.
