Yes, no strings attached—unless you consider a Steam account a "string," but most PC gamers already been wrapped up in Valve's cat's cradle-like monstrosity for years now.Sure, Red Orchestra 2 is a few years old now and getting a bit long in the tooth, but it's still one of the most satisfying, complex multiplayer shooters out there. If you've never played before, don't jump in expecting Call of Duty. You will die. Often. And horribly.
