At participating retail stores and with the activation of a 2-year contract, Walmart offers the new Apple iPhone 5C 16GB Smartphone for AT&T, Sprint, or Verizon Wireless in five colors for $45. (According to TUAW, RadioShack stores charge the same.) That's $55 under our expired mention from three days ago (which included a $50 Best Buy gift card) and the best price we've seen for this new iPhone. (It's a current price low by $54.) It features an Apple A6 processor, 4" 1136x640 Retina display, 8-megapixel iSight camera, 1.2-megapixel FaceTime HD camera, 1080p video capture, 802.11n wireless, Bluetooth 4.0, and dual microphones.
Of note, new Sprint customers can get it for free, as we mentioned yesterday.
