The iTunes App Store offers downloads of Microsoft OneNote for Apple iPad for free. That's the best deal we could find for this new note-taking app, which competes with Evernote. A Windows Live ID is required, but once set up, you can access your notes via your iPad, phone, PC, or almost any web browser. It also requires OS 4.3 or later.
