MegaMacs offers the refurbished Apple Mac Pro Xeon 8-Core 3GHz Workstation, model no. A1186, for $949.99 plus around $34 for shipping. That's $171 under our refurb mention from three weeks ago and the lowest total price we could find for a used unit with this configuration by $65. It features two Intel Xeon 5300 Series 3GHz quad-core processors, 4GB RAM, 750GB, SuperDrive, 802.11n wireless, and Bluetooth. Deal ends June 5.
Of note, the operating system is unspecified. A 30-day warranty is included, although it's unclear who backs it.
