MegaMacs offers the refurbished 5-lb. MacBook Intel Core 2 Duo 2GHz 13.3" Widescreen Laptop, model no. MB881LL/A, bundled with the Audyssey South of Market Speaker with Dock for $499.99 plus around $19 for shipping. That's $204 under the lowest total price we could find for a refurb laptop and new speaker purchased separately elsewhere. (For further comparison, we saw the refurbished laptop on its own for $100 less in September.) The laptop features an Intel Core 2 Duo 2GHz dual-core processor, 13.3" 1280x800 widescreen LCD, 2GB RAM, 120GB hard drive, Airport Extreme (802.11n wireless), Bluetooth, NVIDIA GeForce 9400M 256MB video card, and Mac OS X 10.7 Lion. The 4-channel speaker features a built-in dock for iPhone or iPod touch, Bluetooth, a frequency response of 40Hz to 20kHz, and more. Deal ends November 14.
