TigerDirect offers the Seagate 1TB Expansion Portable USB 3.0 External Hard Drive in Black, model no. STBX1000101, with Total Defense Premium Internet Security 5-User for Windows for $108.99. This $60 mail-in rebate cuts it to $48.99. With around $4 for shipping, that's the lowest total price we could find by $50, although we saw it in June for $14 less. (We saw the drive alone for $7 more two weeks ago.) It features USB 3.0 connectivity, a 4-foot USB cable, and more. Deal ends July 31.
Of note, the software must be activated before the rebate can be redeemed, which involves providing your credit card information. However, you can cancel the service at any time within the first year without any additional charges.
