At its retail stores only, Fry's Electronics offers the SIIG 2,600mAH Portable Backup Battery for $9.99. (It's not available online; here's a link to the product at Fry's site for reference only.) Redeem this $8 mail-in rebate to cut it to $1.99. That's the lowest price we've seen for a 2,600mAh battery pack. (It's $2 below the lowest we could find for a generic model elsewhere; comparable SIIG charges cost $15 or more.) It charges and provides backup power to USB and microUSB input-compatible devices, including iPhone, iPod, and most other current smartphones. Deal ends January 23.
