Microsoft’s Surface Pro 3 is thinner and lighter than its predecessors, but it’s also harder than ever to repair.While performing a teardown of the new Windows tablet , iFixit was unable to remove the screen without cracking it. The Surface Pro 3 has thinner glass than previous models, and as iFixit tried to remove the screen by heating the adhesive underneath, the resultant cooling process was enough to crack the display.To read this article in full or to leave a comment, please click here
