Newegg offers the Toshiba 8GB TransMemory USB 2.0 Flash Drive, model no. PFU008U-1ACW, bundled with Total Defense Premium Internet Security 5-User for Windows for $48.70. This $60 mail-in rebate yields an $11.30 profit. With 99 cents for shipping, that's $10 under our mention from last week, when we saw the flash drive bundled with McAfee anti-virus software, and it's the best deal we could find now for the flash drive alone by $4. Rebate expires February 28.
Note: In order to redeem the rebate, you'll need to activate the Total Defense software, which involves providing your credit card information. However, you can cancel the service at any time within the first year without any additional charges.
