As one of its daily deals, Amazon cuts up to 72% off select Transcend SDHC Secure Digital High-Capacity Memory Cards, Transcend USB Flash Drives, and Transcend USB 3.0 Portable Hard Drives with prices starting at $8.99. Plus, Amazon Prime members qualify for free shipping on all items. (Non-members can spend $25 or more to qualify for free shipping; otherwise shipping starts at $8.05.) That's tied with our August mention (when prices started from $14) and yields several price lows. Deal ends today.
A best bet it the Transcend 16GB Class 10 SDHC Secure Digital High-Capacity Card (pictured), model no. TS16GSDHC10E, for $8.99 with free shipping for Prime members ($0.56/GB). That's $7 under our mention from last winter and the lowest total price we've seen for this card. (It's also a current price low by $4.)
Amazon Prime membership is $79 per year; however, Prime is free for college students for six months, and free for parents and caregivers for three months.
