For in-store pickup only, Fry's Electronics offers the Western Digital My Book Studio 2TB FireWire 800 / USB 2.0 External Hard Drive, model no. WDBC3G0020HAL-NESN, for $79. That's tied with our mention from last spring as the least expensive 2TB FireWire 800 drive we've seen. (It's a current price low by $51.) It's compatible with Apple Time Machine. Deal ends April 24.
Although the product description at Fry's advertises USB 3.0 connectivity, according to Western Digital, it only supports FireWire 400 / 800 and USB 2.0. It's formatted for Mac, but can be reformatted for Windows-based systems as well.
