TigerDirect offers the Western Digital 1.5TB My Book Essential USB 3.0 External Hard Drive, model no. WDBACW0015HBK-NESN, for $99.99. This $30 mail-in rebate cuts it to $69.99. With around $5 for shipping, that's $0.05/GB, $10 under our February mention, and the lowest total price we could find by $143. This drive is purported to run 3x faster than a similar USB 2.0 device when connected to a USB 3.0 port. It also features password protection with hardware encryption. Rebate expires April 27.
