Workplace Sustainability a Major Goal of David Selakovic of Selacorp |

SINGAPORE--(Marketwired - May 31, 2014) - According to "Gaining Ground: Corporate Progress on the Ceres Roadmap for Sustainability", a recent report which was published at the 2014 Ceres Conference in Boston, the majority of large US companies are not taking the required action in order to tackle environmental issues such as climate change and sustainability. The study looked at 20 measures that suggest whether an organization is integrating sustainability into its decision-making and general business systems. Focusing on the four main pillars -- governance, disclosure, stakeholder engagement, and performance -- the report concluded that while companies are taking steps in the right direction, they are still not moving fast enough to respond to social and environmental issues. Despite these rather disheartening results, some companies stand out through their exemplary proactive approach in embracing sustainability challenges of the future.
