Apple announces next-generation MacBook Pro 13" w/ Retina display for $1,699 |

Apple announced its new MacBook Pro 13.3" Laptop, which features a 13.3" 2560x1600 Retina display. It weighs 3.57 lbs and measures 0.75" thick. The $1,699 base model sports an Intel Core i5 "Ivy Bridge" 2.5GHz dual-core processor, 8GB RAM, 128GB SSD, Intel HD 4000 graphics, Bluetooth 4.0, FaceTime HD camera, and more. It also includes two ThunderBolt ports, two USB 3.0 ports, HDMI output, and an SD card reader. Battery life is expected to reach up to seven hours.
